Accounts, signing permissions and risk
External wallets and accounts created through the application have different signing arrangements. Automated trading depends on delegated signing authority; it does not mean that every private key is stored only on your device.

Who can sign
For an external wallet, inspect the wallet’s own signing and custody arrangements. For automated copying, the service can use an encrypted agent key on the backend or a Turnkey signing path. It does not ask for a fresh device confirmation for every copied order.
For accounts created through the application, the account service and its permissions also participate in wallet management and signing. A Passkey authenticates an action; it does not by itself prove that the service has no signing authority. Turnkey secure enclaves and a device’s local secure hardware are different systems.
Review and revoke permissions
Check the account address, active agents, permitted actions, expiry and builder fee ceiling. Review agent permissions in Hyperliquid when stopping automated trading. Closing positions, pausing a follow relationship and revoking an agent are separate operations.
Check the remaining orders and positions after any change. Do not assume that logging out or removing a device has closed market exposure.
Execution and account risk
Leverage, liquidation, price movement, liquidity, service outages and failures in exchanges, wallets or signing services can cause loss. Risk checks can reject orders, but cannot guarantee a fill price, capital protection or uninterrupted service.
